Hi,
This week I finally looked at how many people visit the pages other founders have built on HAGGIN. I should have done it sooner.
This week
There are seven of them now. The newest is Announcify, a tool that turns GitHub commits into a changelog, and it went live on Wednesday. On the whole platform there's still one offer and one deal, and both are on my own page.
When I checked the visits, the answer for Thursday and Friday was zero. Nobody opened any of the seven.
What I think is going on
Most of the founders who said yes to me in the last few weeks are very early, like I am. The conversations were great and I learned a lot from them. But they don't have many customers yet, so almost nobody ever gets to the point where the page would show up, like a trial running out or someone clicking cancel.
Two of them do have it in a place people actually pass through. Storewake sends the link in the email people get when their trial ends. One person has received it so far. They came back and used the product again, and they haven't decided yet. PostPulse added a link to its page right under its plans this week. Those are the two I'm watching.
What I'm doing about it
I'm changing who I write to first. From this week it's founders who already have paying customers, a trial or a cancel flow, and who still answer their own messages. I'm not dropping the early ones, and I'll keep helping everyone who already has a page.
Something I read this week
RevenueCat shared numbers on the offers apps show when someone tries to cancel a subscription in the App Store. 22 million of those messages, across 309 apps. 87% of the apps offered a discount or a cheaper plan, and 0.68% of people took the discount. Most of the people who stayed just didn't cancel that day.
It made me think the same discount for everyone isn't doing much. I'd rather know what each of those people would have stayed for, which is what HAGGIN asks them.
If you have a SaaS with paying customers and want to try it, reply and I'll set it up for you. If you just want to see what it looks like, it's here: hagg.in
